Penguin Play

March 8, 2015momstownBaby, FeaturedNo comments
The babies had a great time listening to these adorable rhymes for the finger puppets!

Kids love rhyming stories, but so do babies. I found some really cute little rhyming stories that I paired with some felt penguins I made and the babies loved it! You can make your own out of felt if you want, but if you want something quick there are some adorable little printable penguin puppets and a couple really great songs to go with them on this awesome blog called Lets Play Music.

We also read a book called My Personal Penguin by Sandra Boynton, and if you haven't read any off her books to your baby or toddler, you should because they are awesome! They each have a rhythm to them and you can download a song for most of her books to go with it, and my son loved them as a baby, like head over heels loved them. We had a really great time with our penguin theme, I'm looking forward to more fun to come!
