Canada will be celebrating its 147th birthday this Canada Day (July1st).
This Canada Day, there are lots of options for those of us North of the GTA! If you are looking to stay local and not have to drive far from the Innisfil/Barrie area, you can check out the festivities of Promenade Days. To end the fun of Promenade Days, the City of Barrie will hold a Fireworks show over beautiful Kempenfelt Bay. Gather with friends and neighbours around the bay to take in the fireworks spectacular beginning at 10:00pm.
If you are looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of the busy Down Town Barrie core, there are a bunch of great fireworks displays planned for a bit further north of us. With the beautiful summer weather upon us, make a day, or weekend, out of it with the family!

Collingwood – The town of Collingwood has a celebration taking place from June – July 1st including a children’s activity centre, entertainment, pancake breakfasts, farmers market and more!
