The 3rd Annual running of Hot Summer nights kicks off this week!! This is easily becoming a "must do" during the summer here in Barrie!
Barrie Fire & Emergency Service will be setting up a different park from 6-8pm each Thursday of the summer (weather permitting) with fun activities surrounding safety reminders and a cooling mist from the big fire truck to help the kids cool off this summer!
Bring the kids to check out the fire trucks, participate in hand-on activities, and ask any fire-safety questions. This is a great way for the community to interact with their local Emergency Service workers!
To make the evenings even better, you can cool off and have dinner with Domino's Pizza Barrie! They will be on site selling slices for $1 each, with proceeds going to charity.
