Enjoy a day of family skating outdoors!

Skating is a huge part of winter fun for all ages.

Aside from the many indoor arenas that the City of Barrie has to offer with public skating times, there are several options for outdoor skating

The followin outdoor skating rinks (weather permitting) are maintained by the City of Barrie staff and are located as follows:

  • Circle at the Centre: City Hall, 70 Collier St (opening date: Saturday December 6, 2014, Open 7 days/week, 10am–10pm)
  • Eastview Park: 455 Grove St. E.
  • Lampman Lane Park: 59 Lampman Lane
  • Shear Park: 21 Holgate St.http://barrie.momstown.ca/node/add/article

A little known treasure in the Barrie area is The Arrowhead Provincial Park skating rink. This is 1.3-kilometers long, making it the longest outdoor man-made skating rink in Ontario.  Admission is $14 per vehicle and skate rentals are available for $6.  Skating is open daily from 8:30am to 5pm

The Town of Innisfil will be opening an outdoor arena this winter at the Innisfil Beach Park in the resident only parking area.
