Hungry Buddha Coconut Chips Review

August 22, 2016momstownFood

The countdown for back-to-school in my house has begun and so has the grocery shopping. I’ve started to buy the snacks I’ll pack in my kids school lunches and pack for our drive to extracurriculars. While I prefer to feed them fruits and veggies, I like the convenience of on-the-go snacks like these Hungry Buddha Coconut Chips!

I’m always looking for healthy snacks for my kids because they’ve got to maintain their energy  throughout their school day and for their after school activities. So when I had the opportunity to review the Hungry Buddha Coconut Chips, I jumped at the chance.  I’m already a fan of the Hungry Buddha brand, but they’re now introducing a variety pack of eight 1 oz bags of coconut chips. These are perfectly snack-sized for my bunch.

My kids gave these snacks a try and they loved them. I even managed to get my hands on a bag, Smokin’ Sriracha.  I loved that these snacks are dairy free, contain no trans fat and are certified GMO Free. My kids loved how crunchy and tasty they were, and I loved all the goodness these snacks provide. Plus, Buddha Brands Co. donates 1% of their revenue to worldwide environmental organizations to balance the carbon footprint that inevitably comes as a cost of doing business.

Hungry Buddha Coconut Chips come in four yummy flavours: Classic Coconut, Smokin’ Sriracha, Heavenly Honey and Cheeky Chocolate. My kid’s favourite flavour? Hands down the Cheeky Chocolate.

I definitely plan on adding these snacks to their lunch bag and keeping some of them handy for our after school drive to soccer and tennis practice.

The Hungry Buddha variety pack will be available online at buddhabrandscompany.com/shop and the following retailers in September: Loblaws, Bulk Barn and Sobeys.
