I love halloween so much, it has always been my favourite holiday! I love everything about it, the costumes, the candy, the decorations (did I mention the candy?) and going trick or treating with my little boy.
We got together to celebrate with some spooky sensory play and the little ones explored some fun squish brains made from cooked spaghetti with some bats and rats thrown in for good measure.
It is simple enough to make, just cook some spaghetti noodles as you usually would, then drain, rinse, and throw in a bowl. Add a few dashes of olive oil and some green food colouring and stir it up and voila, brains!
Some kids are very hesitant to touch slimy, icky things so I added some spoons and tongs for them to manovuer with, while others had no problem digging right in.
